Mission
The Scientific Affairs Division is dedicated to enhancing academic knowledge by developing research skills and building the capacities of students and faculty members through innovative educational activities and training programs, contributing to the establishment of a distinguished and innovative research community at the university.
Objectives
- Encourage and motivate faculty and researchers to elevate the level of research work within the university.
- Develop academic staff by adopting training programs in collaboration with prestigious international universities and encouraging faculty to dedicate time for advanced research projects, enabling the transfer of modern technology to our universities.
- Explore and keep pace with areas of scientific and knowledge development while enhancing the academic and research capacities of faculty members.
- Advance creative scientific activities within the university, standardize the documentation of all academic activities such as conferences, workshops, and seminars, follow up on their outcomes, and disseminate findings to ensure maximum benefit.

Faculty Skills Development Program
Overview
The University of Technology is a leader in supporting scientific research and enhancing the academic capabilities of faculty members. As part of this mission, the Faculty Research Skills Development Program was launched as a strategic initiative aimed at empowering faculty, especially newly appointed staff and recent graduates with advanced degrees, to enhance their research skills and improve the quality of their scientific output.The program includes key modules that cover the latest methods and practices in scientific research and academic publishing, while providing an interactive environment for communication and exchange of expertise among researchers. This program represents a valuable opportunity for faculty members who are eager to develop their skills and contribute effectively to advancing scientific research within the university.
Student Innovators Club
Believing in the essential role of nurturing and supporting student creativity, the University of Technology has established the Student Innovators Club—a hub where knowledge and creativity converge. The club aims to be a platform for outstanding students and innovative ideas, reflecting the university’s progressive approach to investing in student potential.
The club serves as an incubator for idea exchange, multidisciplinary projects, and collaborative student initiatives.
Activities are currently paused until renovation works are completed.
