The main objective of the division is to be a pioneer in transforming scientific research and innovations into practical solutions that support economic growth and societal development, focusing on enhancing the utilization of scientific products and research and linking them to the market and society.

The Scientific Products Commercialization Division seeks to build a bridge between scientific research and market needs through the promotion and commercialization of innovations and scientific research, with the aim of improving the quality of life and developing various sectors in society.

Aims

1- Enhancing cooperation with different sectors: Establishing strategic partnerships with industrial, commercial and governmental institutions to benefit from scientific products and apply them on the ground.

2- Developing effective marketing channels: Create and develop marketing platforms and channels that showcase scientific products in an attractive and effective manner, to increase awareness of their importance and possibilities for use.

3- Analyze market needs: Conduct periodic studies to understand the needs and trends of the market to ensure that research efforts are directed to meet the needs of society and increase the chances of adopting innovations.

4- Stimulating commercial innovation: Supporting researchers in transforming innovative ideas into commercial projects by providing marketing and management consultations and assisting in the preparation of business plans.

5- Increase the return on innovations: Achieving financial returns for the division and the institution through the commercialization of patents and emerging technologies resulting from scientific research.

6- Building a distinguished reputation in the scientific and industrial community: Enhancing the Division’s position as a reliable source of innovation and technology by achieving tangible successes in the transfer and application of scientific research.

7- Raising awareness and education about the importance of scientific research: Spreading the culture of research and innovation within the community through workshops, seminars, scientific conferences and continuous educational events. Such as holding exhibitions to showcase innovations and scientific projects for students and researchers, as well as encouragement through competitions and prizes for the best project or scientific innovation.

From this vision, mission and objectives, the Division of Commercialization of Scientific Products helps to achieve real value from scientific research and links it to practical applications that support development.

1- Follow-up on matters related to the marketing of scientific products (research and patents).

2- Follow-up on matters related to pioneering projects.

3- Follow-up on matters related to the marketing of distinguished applied scientific products (research and patents).

4- Training of the academic staff

5- Managing Government Program Unit through.

6- Supervising the students and the academic staff participation in the patent and students’ projects fairs.
